We carry great excitement and optimism towards the Red
Angus breed, it is with our youthful energy and ambition
that we have committed to our herd and the breed thus far
that we see a great future in the industry. We are growing
our herd and our family in this business and way of life and
could not be more happier and proud!
We are relatively new to the Red Angus breed as our herd
began in 2003 with the purchase of 4 top bred heifers from
the Six Mile Red Angus program. We have been slowly
developing our herd focusing a lot on those original 4 cow
families. When you look through our herd and bull pen you
will see solid genetics that are proven to work - our herd is
too small to risk with "trendy" genetics!
Our cows are not pampered - there just is no time! Our
cows work hard for us rather than us working for them. As
a result our cow herd must posses trouble free udders,
have strong maternal instincts, calve easy, breed back
consistently and maintain their body condition throughout
the year.
With mommas like this you can be confident that bulls
purchased from us will go on to perform well in your own
herd, giving you calves born easy, steers that grow on their
dams and gain in the feedlot and low maintenance
replacement females.
