We purchased Steeler as a calf out of Red
Round-Up 2005 after we seen him nursing
his dam out in the back. He impressed us
with his natural thickness and deep rib. An
added bonus was the fact that he was a
direct son of New Trend - exactly the
genetics we were looking for to add that
maternal punch to our herd.
That fall the pair went on to be named
Reserve Red Angus Female at Canadian
Western Agribition, solidifying our last
second decision purchase.
Our Steeler bull calves are the stretchiest
and deepest bodied calves in the pen who
come in off their dams the heaviest and
don't look back.
